Offered is a small size Civil War Cap Box. There is no wool left but the leather is in good overall shape. There is a partial seam separation at back and as shown in the photograph. The belt loops are intact as is the closure tab and it displays well.

Civil War cavalry carbine cartridge box (included in images above). LISTED AND SOLD SEPERATELY. Appx. .52 Caliber. Maker marked C.S. Storms. Ears on inner flaps have been removed, which was a common practice. Leather excellent as is stitching. Belt loops, wood block, and roller buckles are intact. Very nice.

Mounted Artillery sword belt, saber drops, very nice Eagle buckle with applied wreath which is intact, holster, cap box, and pistol cartridge box. Buckle and keeper have matching benchmark numbers. Belt has one repair that is re-enforced from inside and one weak spot which has also been re-enforced. Not noticeable when displayed. Cap box, pistol cartridge box and holster are vg-excellent. No plug in bottom of holster. Small area near very bottom of holster has come unstitched, but not noticeable. Pistol cartridge box is marked E. Gaylord, Chicopee, Mass. Individual items have been collected and assembled as set. Both cap boxes included. Holster fits Colt M1860 perfectly.
